Our Work
Our work began in 2004 at local hospitals in the Greater Jackson, MS area. We provided services such as meals to family members in ICU waiting areas as they waited for their loved one to recover at Baptist Medical Center, UMMC Pediatric Unit, and Ronald McDonald House until Covid closed these units to volunteer service in March 2020. The Lord's work never ceased.
With prayer and being led by the Holy Spirit, Reaching Beyond Ministries became a platform for spiritual growth and nurturing for women of all ages. We believe in empowering women with the truth of God's word of who we are in Christ and what has been done for us by Christ (Galatians 2:20). With scripture as our foundation, we have the courage to push through challenges, standing tall in our faith and trust in God’s provision (Proverbs 31:30). Our service to women today is through a Prayer Call every Tuesday morning, an annual Women's Conference and "Christian Women Rising" podcast featured twice a month.
With your support, we aim to continue Kingdom work for the King, helping women walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, begin fruitful in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). Please join us in continuing this ministry work for God's glory!
Our Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God. There is one God, existent in three persons: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
Scripture references: Deuteronomy 4:2; Psalm 19:7-9; Proverbs 30:5-6; 2 Timothy 3:15-17;
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Scripture references: Genesis 1:1-3; Isaiah 44:6-8; Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 13:14
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was sent to redeem humanity. His life, death, and resurrection enable us to overcome spiritual and physical barriers in our communities, offering hope and restoration to those in need. Scripture references: John 1:1-4, 14; Romans 5:8;
We believe in the Holy Spirit, our Helper and Comforter, who convicts us of sin and leads us in truth. The Spirit empowers us to serve as agents of change in our communities, living out Christ's love through our actions.
Scripture references: John 16:13-14; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:11; Galatians 5:22-23
Always doing what is Right
Our determination and desire are to be the people God called us to be in our character and conduct, with honesty and integrity (James 1:22).
Who We Are
Reaching Beyond Ministries, Inc. was born out of a sincere desire to help those in need. The work began in 2005, and the non-profit organization was formed several years later. This work has served and touched many lives, and it continues to do so today through weekly women's prayer calls, the annual Women's Prayer and Praise Break Conference in downtown Jackson, MS, and the "Christian Women Rising" podcast, which is featured twice a month.
Mission Statement
Reaching Beyond Ministries, Inc. exists to fulfill the Commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself” Matthew 22:37-39. We are helping to build a stronger community of godly women, standing firm in their faith, honoring the Word of God, and fervent in prayer through conferences, prayer calls, and podcast ministry. Our aim is the Titus 2 model, which emphasizes the importance of older women as mentors and role models for younger women.
Vision
Our commitment is to the Gospel of Christ, and we aim to encourage and equip women with principles and practices rooted in scripture (Matthew 28:19-20).
